I don’t recall anyone complaining about road specific details (if I’m wrong I haven’t seen it), the GP35s and GP18s have the basic amount of road specific details to make them work, so I wouldn’t get that.
You see most of those people complaining about those things since most of them have been “spoiled” by stuff from searchlight, smokebox, dieselworkshop, and machinerail that have all this realism. And when they come to something like this they don’t really get the same feeling and that’s where a lot of that critique comes from.
Some like actual realism when playing a sim, others just want to relax and have fun just running some virtual trains. Trying to sum it up the best.
