These look brilliant! Another sorely needed item added to the sim.

The next one is almost ready: GN #2350, currently in beta testing. Should be ready for release very soon.

Here is 2350 waiting for passengers at Great Falls, MT. It'll soon depart for its round trip to Butte, MT.

Hi,

The Great Northern RDC is now available at Trains & Drivers.

The add-on costs €8.95, which includes 19% VAT that only applies to EU customers.

Hello, after yesterday's patch we've got even more good news for owners of the NH Budd RDC's:

Four New Scenarios for the NH Budd RDC's

Four new scenarios are now available for the New Haven Budd RDC cars and the VNH Springfield Line 2.0.

The scenarios can be downloaded for free on the Golden Age of Railroading website and include:

an all-stops passenger run from Springfield to Hartford

an all-stops passenger run from Hartford to Springfield

a Mail Express service from Springfield to Hartford in the middle of the night, with pick-ups along the way

an Express Freight run from Hartford to Springfield
All scenarios feature a good amount of AI trains and are of moderate to somewhat tricky difficulty. Each scenario is between 45 minutes and 60 minutes long.

We recommend playing these scenarios after installing the Hancock Whistle update we published yesterday for the four NH RDC's.

Cheers

New Penn Central Budd RDC Scenarios!

Two new scenarios for the Penn Central Budd RDC have been released. In these two scenarios you can take control over the north- and southbound passenger services on the PC Springfield Line (the VNHRR Springfield Line Route).

The scenarios can be downloaded on my website.

Three-part RDC Scenario for Stevens Pass Now Available

A new scenario pack for the GN Budd RDC is now available. In this three-part fictional scenario of 240 minutes total play time you'll be the engineer of the old GN RDC, pressed into service by BN in 1971 for an inspection tour of Stevens Pass for some new employees. You'll run eastbound from Delta Yard to Wenatchee, but heavy traffic and your train's low priority will make things a bit difficult.

You can download the scenario on my website. Please note that it requires a lot of additional free- and payware equipment, it was not possible to model the colorful early BN consists without it.

Three screenshots are below, many more can be found on the VNH blog: http://vnhrr.blogspot.de/

Hi,

Some of you have been requesting a B&M version of the Budd RDC for a long time now, and now Bob and I finally got around to building one.

Coming soon: B&M Budd RDC

This will be a free expansion pack to the existing New Haven RDC Pack and will include Budd RDC's 1, 2, 3, and a new model of the RDC-9.
