I actually prefer this yellow to several of the other UP Loco DLC.

clearly after weathering the paint fades thats why we see varying shades of yellow. UP is the hardest paint scheme because theres that many shades of yellow to choose from.

When I used to hand letter (paint) trucks and signs, yellow and red were the main colors to fade. Red would turn pink, yellow would turn lighter in shade as time went on.
Some of the early Railworks engines seem to match the UP color the best. !!*ok*!!

Isn't yellow the most feeble natural pigment? Does yellow hold up better now with artificial pigments?

Anyway, good looking engines. Are they easily repaintable, since Uncle Pete gave them a few different paint schemes during their service lives?

What couplers are used on the included cars? They have stiff brakehoses but are springy and get pulled out of their pockets?
The file structure is different from Kuju's or other replacement couplers, so no direct drop in replacement, rather bin hacking is needed?

Same goes with CN's red paint.
Most CN engines eventually fade to black and pink.
