[TAS] FDL-12 Sound-set coming soon!

Unread postby emd645e3 » Mon Aug 24, 2015 2:59 pm

Hey guys,

Just a soundset is dawning over the horizon for you folks. I am working very hard away on this soundset. A lot of frustration and headaches went into this set but nonetheless I am making strong headway. In the mean time here is a small teaser for you guys.

I'll keep you all updated with more videos and announcements in this thread.

Wow, I'm amazed! Will this be applied to each and every ES44 out now? (Kuju, CN ES44DC in Ohio Steel and Ft Kent Eagle Lake, Sherman Hill, Marias and Stevens Pass, BNSF ES44DC standalone, Canadian Mtn. Passes, CSX ES44AH Marketplace, and NS Coal District)

Interested to hear about which K5HL will be used correct for each variant, and I think an e-bell will be standard on all versions.

K5HL 1st gen: Kuju, Sherman Hill, Marias and Stevens Pass, BNSF ES44DC standalone

K5HL 2nd gen: CN ES44DC, Sherman Hill, Canadian Mtn. Passes, CSX ES44AH, NS Coal District

I have something neat instored for the horns. I'll try to get a preview of everything in the coming week.

The horn sounds awesome, but I don't think Nathan P5s are used on NS ES44ACs. What I find interesting that the ES44 series uses GEVO prime movers, not FDLs.

I threw the P5 on there just $%#@ and giggles. But there are plenty of ES44s out there that use a Nathan P5. And yeah its a ES44 engine but mainly IMO it is a FDL-12.

I understand what you mean :P You can call the GEVO-12 an FDL-12 but whenever I say FDL12 I would think it is for the P32AC-DM or P32BWH and the alike....

Great sounds, but I think the throttle control noises are a little too loud. Are there separate exterior and interior sound sets, and will separate bogie sounds be implemented?

Honestly the K5HL sounds awesome.

Right now no custom bogie sounds... But maybe in the future.

The pack is now released, there is a separate thread for that.

I use the bogie sounds from the 40 Series pack in the meantime

I remember hearing word about an update to this correcting a soundfile or two playing...do you have any idea how existing owners can receive it for free?
