Which P42 is this sound pack for? The current 'Empire Builder' DLC on steam?

Yes that is correct. They are far better anyways.

So I bought it. Excellent sounds. I found a small bug. This button is missing.

Will they also install to the DTG Miami P42DC?

https://youtu.be/yk_38q1zdQE I also noticed this update to the soundset. I in particular noticed the usage of new flange sounds, but still lacks the joint and rumble sounds from the P32 pack.

I love the sounds, but don't you think $10 is kinda much to ask for? I would probably get it if it were half the price.

I love the sounds, very high quality. I used to have these sounds, but then I lost them and the guy took them down. *!sad!*

I'll keep waiting for another freeware pack.

I'm sorry, but your work is stolen. You basically ripped off Anthony Wood's sounds.

The YouTube comment for reference:

Travis Plowman aka virtusounds.com stole a good friend of mines sounds and used them for payware without his consent. So we plan on making our OWN which are more updated, clearer, diverse, and much more organized. So just to bypass all the legal bullshit we just going to let it go and do our own in which as I said his sounds are outdated by about 2-3 years. So not much of a lose.

The original comment can be found here: https://youtu.be/UeuofcehY-8

I also believe that Plowman deliberately copied the sounds off the Metro-North P32 pack as a number of the sounds are the exact same files from it, such as the interior bell reverb and air hiss sounds. I don't think Anthony's Genesis sounds were publically released, all that I know of is that he send the sounds to DTG to use on the P32AC-DM. What I cannot confirm at the moment is whether the horn sounds are actually Travis's own. He actually made an MSTS sound set for the P42DCs back in 2011, and the sounds in there appear to be his.

For some reason the price was bumped up to $10.99 from the posted $9.99.

emd645e3: If you make a proper P42DC soundset, will have a variety of K5LAs and K5Ls as each P42 has a differently tuned horn.

Sigh haha Tycoon, the sounds I was refencing were not Anthony Woods sounds but Nash Gallos. If your from Train-Sim his name should ring some bells but I did see how he did leave some sounds in there from the DTG P32 pack. I don't know there file sharing works so its none of my business. I'm happy with what I make and with some break throughs working on the ES44 stuff I got somethings in store. But anyways guys lets not start war here, lets just burry the hatcket and go our own ways here.
