Cimarron & Pacific - Eastbound Local Passenger Run by Gary (gwgardner) Gardner.

This package contains two standard scenarios for the Cimarron & Pacific RR phase 2. They are parts 1 and 2 of an Eastbound Local Passenger run from west of Eagles Nest to Cimarron.
Feel free to use RWTools and substitute whatever rolling stock and engines you would like, but below I have listed what I used in making these scenarios.
For the run down Cimarron Canyon, I used the Consolidation. It's a pretty steady 1.9% grade down the canyon. I have no idea if this is prototypical, but I found that I had to apply a little brake all the way, self-lapped, then use the reverser against that to keep within the speed limits.
Most of the run is 30 mph max, but as the experienced engineer you are, you'll have to judge whether that is too fast for some of the curves. For most of the trestles, the speed limit is 15 mph. Speeds are posted all along the route.
