55t and 70t Hoppers Megapack
for DTG Train Simulator 2014 by Golden Age of Railroading

This add-on pack includes a large fleet of 55t and 70t rib- and offset-side coal
Hoppers in the colors of the New York Central and related railroad companies.
This collection of freight cars contains the cars of the two “New York Central
Hopper Packs” that were available at Golden-Age-Rails.com. These two add-ons
are not being offered any longer and I have decided to turn their
contents into this freeware pack for the Montour route.

Credits: For the production of this add-on, I have used source materials from:

1 Installation and System Requirements
System Requirements: Train Simulator 2015 must be installed, there are no special
hardware requirements which would exceed those of the game itself. Backwards
compatibility to older versions of Railworks/Train Simulator down to Railwork 3: Train
Simulator 2012 is possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
Installation:

1. Download the .zip file and save it in a secure place on your hard disk. Unzip the file
using WinZip or WinRAR extracting the .RWP file.

2. Launch RailWorks and select the Package Manager on the Welcome Screen.

3. Click the Install button, browse to the file from step one, click Open. The package will
be installed now, after which you can already run your new cars in the game!

4. To be able to place the cars in a scenario, you will first have to enable the object filter
(left-hand mid fly out window, button that shows a blue cube with an orange
triangle) for developer “GreatNortherner”, product “Hoppers”

5. You will now find the cars in the assets browser, listed under “Hopper 50t/70t ...”

6. All cars will be empty right after placing them in the scenario editor. To load a car,
double click on it. When it is highlighted in dark red, tick the little 'cargo' checkbox in
the right fly out window. You can also do this for entire consists in one go, all you
need to do is to switch on the 'consist select' radio button in the lower left fly out
window.

7. These cars have been designed so you can load them while running a scenario. To do
that, simply stop the car under a 'bulk freight' cargo transfer point (like the default
coal loader) and hit the T key. They will also unload interactively (Shift+T).

All of the contents of this software are copyrighted material and may not be further
distributed or reused, whole or in part, without express written permission by the author
