Hi

Thank you for downloading the co_equip_pack_01.zip from the Railworks America download section. This pack includes repaints of the following default
rolling stock into the C&O road name. Where possible and to the best of my ability and limited knowledge of repainting I have tried to paint these models
with the actual road numbers used by the C&O.

1. The default F7A & F7B
2. The default ACF Chaircar
3. The default 2Bay Covered hoppers
4. The default Cupola Wide Vision Caboose

-----------------------------------------
Known Issues:

I had trouble with the F7A not coupling to other wagons if used on it's own, front or the back coupler.....it appears, you have to add a B unit to be able
to couple to most freight stock and the front coupler still had the problem. I suspect this may be a default problem from the original RS.com release of this model.
In order to be able to use this F7A as a stand alone unit I have modifyied the coupling dimensions some so I could use the rear or front coupler to couple to all the
default / payware wagons I tested. If you have issues or not happy with the modifications I have attached also a zip file called "install_default_couplers".

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only install this file if you have issues with my modifictions and you are not happy with the results. This file will install the coupling dimensions
back to default settings while maintaining the #7064 repainted road number of the F7A & F7B.

The ACF Chaircar has an error with mirrored numbers on the side of the coach. This is a default problem from RS.com and as I did not get an answer back from
them or find a fix / answer to why, this error stays as is. See attached picture file.....chair_error.jpg

The external view on the cabooses faces forward towards the engine when first selected. I could not fix this problem and could not get an answer anywhere on
the forums. If anybody can rectify / fix this problem then I would greatly appreciate such fix and would acknowledge such person for doing so in an update.

-----------------------------------------
The repaints:

F7A & B

Besides the C&O repaint I have darkened the windows and changed the outside view of the cab interior from green to a blueish colour on the F7A.
The F7A has a static number ( 7064 ) as do the B units.....you have a choice of three with the B's ( 7518 7527 7542 ). The B units have an F painted
in order to show the front end of the B unit so be mindfull when attaching multiple units. There is also a F7A ND ( no driver version ) as well.
I have not modifyied any sounds / engine specs with this repaint so if you are not happy with the default horn / bell and want to make it better then may I suggest you
download Bill Platt's horn & bell fix from trainsim.com......( f7hbfix.zip ). This fix allows the use of short blast of the original horn sound
while maintaining the doppler affect and works well.

ACF Chaircar

As there is only one coach I painted this car as close as possible to what was available from rare small photos.
I have a WIP of other carriages ( sleeper, combine, baggage....etc ) which will be released at a later date and of better quality.

Caboose

There are three cabooses with static road numbers...( 3109 3115 3161 ). They come in various colour shades with different roofs. I have changed the
passenger view from inside to an outside view on the porch at the back of the caboose. You can pan around and also look down at the coupler if used
to connect other cabooses or wagons. As stated above the only issue with this view is it faces towards the engine when first selected.

2Bay Covered hoppers

There are three hopper repaints of the default. One in self paint textures and 2 in photo repaint. I tried the photo repaint idea after viewing and trialing
a set by Jessie James to see how they came out as I was not happy with my repaint attempt.
I dislike stock to be identical....( especially with the same side textures ) and try to mix them up some.
All shadows and such were removed and adjusted to fit. The photo repaints have different side textures also on each hopper. These hoppers have auto numbering
of 100 per hopper model. I have some more to come which will be in the next pack.

Legals & REQUEST:

If you continue after reading this file and procede to install the rwp file you do so at your own risk. I shall not be held responsible for any damage that

The only thing that I do ask of....if you renumber or retouch the paint on these models, you must note and include my original qrfan3_readme_FIRST with your

Enjoy!!!
