ex_UP SD60M in Adriana County livery

Description: Adriana County SD60M repaint pack by tagsdm

Interest in heavyweight power for the Adriana County route is still active, so included is a repaint of the SD60M that that came as a reward from RSC when they were doing that. It's lettered for the freelanced Adriana County route by LtBligh, available at the Steam Workshop. If you don't have this route you're missing a wonderful modern-era railroading experience. Markings are fictional, as is the route itself, and autonumbering is used. The larger engines can be especially useful if you've built a Marlane bypass to allow through trains from Henderson to Clairbourne and back. You can run some really long trains from either of those two large yards.

This repaint also includes a physics mod by fanrailer already installed that will make throttle control easier. His readme is enclosed.

!!!You must have TS2016 (now TS2017), and you must have the UP SD60M reward to use this repaint. The reward was given free to owners of TS2016, and is not available at Steam!!!

If you have a full install of TS2016 then you should have the reward UP SD60M anyway. You shouldn't have to purchase anything in that event.

To install this repaint, extract the ACDX_SD60M.rwp to a convenient location for you (like your desktop) and install using the Package Manager utility located in your Railworks main folder. You should find a new folder named ACDX_SD60M in ...Assets\RSC\SD60MPack01\RailVehicles\ after installing.

Now the file copying...

First, navigate to your ...\Assets\RSC\SD60MPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\Engine folder and copy the SD60M_UP.GeoPcDx file.
Then navigate to your ...\Assets\RSC\SD60MPack01\RailVehiclesl\ACDX_SD60M\Engine folder and paste the SD60M_UP.GeoPcDx file there.
Next, navigate to your ...\Assets\RSC\SD60MPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\Cabview folder and copy the SD60M_Cab.GeoPcDx file.
Finally navigate to your ...\Assets\RSC\SD60MPack01\RailVehicles\ACDX_SD60M\Cabview folder and paste the SD60M_Cab.GeoPcDx there.

That should do it!

To use in a scenario, be sure RSC and SD60MPack01 are checked in the editor. You should find 2 new entries in the locomotive flyout on the left. They are...

EMD SD60M ACDX_exUP
EMD SD60M ACDX_exUP_ND

Just select an EMD SD60M ACDX_exUP, place it on the rails, add a driver and you're off. Use the ND (No Driver) version in the middle or the end of a lash up, or as a scenery item.

All credit for the model and original textures goes to RSC and it's associates and developers. I did only the ACDX repaints. All credit for the physics mod goes to fanrailer. Files uploaded to RWA only. Please do not redistribute. Thanks to JM1261 for test driving the SD60M.
