Let the comments begin and let's try to stay on topic of the route and associated stuff. At least for the first few days I will delete anything that has nothing to do with this subject. Enjoy!

At $40.00, I think I'll pass on the pass.

Good idea buzz! So the route itself is $40 bucks, but add the SD40-2 pack in and then its 47 bucks which is a steal of a deal ($59 separately). the SD40 pack gives you 4 locos, and an assortment of freightcars (boxcars, coal hoppers, flatcars...etc). You would have to be crazy not to buy the bundle pack imho....now only if steam would let me download faster, the suspense!!!!

Don't know if its just me or if its everyone, just ran the first scenario for the BN SD40-2 and theirs no couplers on anything? (possibly just a glitch on my end?)

On to a lighter subject, just noticed the default intermodal cars have new containers on them! although not of real companies I believe they do give the little touch intermodal has been missing (without adding mods)

Would someone please post some close-ups of the track? It sure looks like ScaleRail. *!rolleyes!*

Me too, Blue Light, although it is a bargain in a way: Donner Pass, with "more than 140 miles" of track also cost $39.99; with 152 miles of track, Marias Pass costs less.

On the other hand, I find Donner's long-haul scenarios boring, so I'm certainly not attracted by an additional 12 miles. The hype for Western Lines of Scotland doesn't mention how many miles of track it features, but my guess is that the number doesn't exceed 140; nevertheless, in this case less is indeed more as far as I'm concerned.

There's no couplers on any of the locomotives or freight cars on the entire set, route or add on SD40-2's.

Don't think so. It's DerekRail... !!det!!

Just to make sure, for those with missing couplers you did clear the cache after downloading?
