I'll try first. These two shots are not going to be exact as the real photo was taken with a telephoto lens but here goes...

Now the Rail Works Photo

Only in the other direction. Any ETA on the route being ready to run? !!*ok*!!

I watch the Roanoke railcam almost every morning while I'm eating breakfast. It has a steady stream of morning trains.

Very cool to see the modern vs "backdated".

Some really great shots!

I came across this postcard image of the Horseshoe Curve.

Thought it may inspire someone to try and match a virtural shot.

Okay...Let me give this a shot and lets see how close I can get it...I am not used to doing this for this sim just yet....I mainly do it for Trainz but I figured I might as well try and see what I can come up with......

So with that being said.....Here we go...Bare with me guys

So I wanted to try something with this route here as it is a nice lil one to start it out on.....I know the engines are not right, but the cars are some what right and the snow was not falling at the time....But what the heck...It was not snowing when I left home.......Oh well....Any ways here is the pic

NMED is about to cross under the Fore River Parkway/US-1 Alt., not far from its destination of Rigby Yard.

*Note...Not my pic, the real one that is*

Hopefully this was the thing that this topic was looking for....And if I did this right...I hope to share more pix like this down the road with other routes and such..... *!lol!*

I've been wanting to do this for a while but didn't have the right photo. I had to use a snapshot from a video I took this summer.
I haven't attached pictures before so hopefully it works...

Hmm, so it does. I may have to give it another try. Still, I'm amazed at how well it matches up. !*brav*!
