Trainz was my actual gateway sim, I played MSTS before but my, at the time, young mind couldn't comprehend the complexity. Trainz was an addiction. But I grew older and trainz became a childrens game to me. So when Rail Simulator came out I was flying all over the walls.

I still have Trainz 2006. God I miss those days, life was young and simple. Still young but not as simple =/

yup, they are doing it...but as he said "When the time is right", as in it is ready but won't be released for some time...but BAM!

OK, so at first I though "Oh great, I am doing U Boats, they are going to put me to shame (I need to find a corner)" and then I noticed that the picture is from May 2010.

uh.. yea. If its not ready now, I don't think it will ever be.

"In most other respects the locomotive is very similar to the SD70 series." - RSC Facebook

I have a really bad feeling that this is gonna be an excuse to use the SD70 sounds and cab in the SD75.

I hope not, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised, this maybe one of those DLCs I actually wait to hear what other people think, not just dive in as usual. Granted the exterior is quite similar, except for headlight placement, and dual blower ducts(according to my limited knowledge *!!wink!!* ). I just hope they don't cycle the cab or sounds.

Me too, knowing that they did that with all of the SD40 packs... *!rolleyes!*

I have the same foreboding feeling regaring the cab interior. So far, none of RSC's US "glass cabs" have working displays, heck, some don't even have a properly working HUD.

I'll pass on the SD75 until it comes in a sale with sufficient discount to tempt me. It is essentially superfluous.

I'd rather have a new and proper ES44, perferably on those radial steering trucks.

I definitely agree! Not only do I think that the GEVOs are not only a beautiful looking locomotive, but I think the technology that was put into them is quite amazing!

Wouldn't that be the best option with all of RSC's stuff?

I know people love to bust on RSC, I do occasionally as well, but in all honesty I have only been let down a few times regarding DLC I have purchased right on release, one said example was Donner Pass. Maybe I am just easy to please and less critical !**conf**!

As far as a new unit I'd like to see, how about a U30C or a C30-7?

I second or third, U-Boats! U-Boats! where are the U-Boats?! *!lol!*

no, people these days just expect too much out of everything, the only thing i have ever been let down from RSC was donner pass but meh, its only $30, i couldn't imagine how much it would actualy cost to make that route in HO scale? maby multiply that 30 by 1000? see my point? expect less and you shall recieve more. !*salute*!
