Unread postby mdurdan » Sun Apr 01, 2012 2:05 am

Hey all, just throwing up a few pictures for my upcoming route build.
The route will start in Scranton and branch out in many directions. It will branch out to the following, Pittston, Nicholson, and to the Delaware Water Gap.
Included will be some locomotives never to see the rails in this sim

Excellent excellent excellent!!!

I know it's going to be modern day, but I'm still going to do scenarios for DLW in its heyday if you give me the platform on which to do it! !!*ok*!!

Low poly enough?
'This one Tops out at just under 500, I plan to keep most of them around (most under) 500 because of the massive amount of buildings and trains their will be in one area. Buildings in the front will be more detailed and in the back will be basically boxes, this is about medium (not final texture) !!*ok*!!

Very nice, reminds me of the buildings my grandfather scratch built for his HO layout 40 years ago. Used toothpicks for window frame. Cut ads out of the newspaper to put in the clear plastic windows. Even had lights for night running. Wish I could have got that stuff when he passed.

Fantastic - I can't wait. Born and raised in Scranton. My dad would take us to the train station after supper and watch the trains come & go. This was when they still had steam.
OK go do it.

Mike, I really think you should do a free beta train before you do any trains for a payware route. That way you gain experience and know what you're actually doing when it comes to making a special train for the route.

Myself, me and a friend will be working on a steam locomotive, he helping me as I go, he will be making a 2,8,0 Consolidation and I'll be making the 4,6,4 Hudson steam locomotive.

I will be doing a free train before I ever thinking of making a payware train just to make sure I know what I'm doing before hand.
Long live the metropolis and big cities of the USA.
