Union Pacific Big Boy horn

Since I got this UP Big Boy horn made, I haven't seen any results on how do you like it. This file is located on http://railworksamerica.com/FileLibrary ... -2011.html and look for "Union Pacific (UP) Big Boy "Real" Whistle".

I loaded it up today and I might be doing something wrong because if I give it a short blast I get nothing if I go for a long one I get a short beep and the end after a couple of seconds. I checked the install and it seems to be right. The K4 one works just fine.

Horn seems to be just fine. I just Check it. I'm not sure why your horn gives a 3 sec delay
If you have anymore problems let me know and I'll see what I can do.

oops, i didn't quite understand...i put not good because i thought it was about the default big boy whisle....sorry

Thats alright I change it to 2 so you should be able to add another.

I am back messing with this thing cause I think it sounds neat. Is this supposed to be IrfanView WAV Files? The only one that works is the end file. The others say Windows can't play this file.

Try VLC Player. An excellent alternative to Irfanview for audio & videos, and it's free too.

I tried Windows player and all three sounds work there but the two still don't work in game.

sheesh never thought this would go farther. Mine whistle still plays pretty good on my new pc, i dont understand it doesnt work. I should be able to convert the sounds correctly.

I downloaded a RSDev Tools. So I'm gonna learn to use it. Plus I just found out why you had a 3 sec delay. I was playing Soo Line last night and I had alot of delays of blowing the horn. The reason why you had that delay was because of you pc that couldn't handle all the objects such as Portland Terminal, Soo Line near Davenport and not sure what other routes that has issues like this. Here's the thing I think you should try to see if the whistle will work for you. Add the UP Big Boy in your test trak and blow that whistle to see if you don't have that delay. If it works let me know while I'll see what I can do to fix this issue. Its my first time changing the sound. So I'll provide the update later on.

Im going to rework the whistle sound and see if I can give it more time on all the 3 files. Plus will update a better whistle than I have from msts. This is my first time replacing and updating the whistle so if anyone has experience the audio converter would be appreciated to help me out on this.
