I´m giving the final touches and working on the manual. Also I´m starting talks with RSC to release it on Steam. So the model must be tested by RSC and, if everything is ok, they will provide a release date. We must wait a little more. Meanwhile... Thanks to Rick Grout for the rain fx.
I hope you also offer this without going thru Steam.
Given the option I will buy direct from the developer and get updates in a timely manner, instead of waiting for RSC and Steam to get around to releasing 3rd party updates.
If God had intended for man to fly, He wouldn't have given us the railroads.
I plan to release it only thru steam. I do not like the method I use on my web site. Yes, I plan to update for free to owners of the old version (lets call it 1.0) but this one (2.0) will not overwrite the previous version because the product folder has changed.
I also though it was funny that people are assuming its RSC's model and they are having a tantrum that its another American DLC. I tried to calm them down and tell that it was made by Digital Train Model (LordMannu) but most didn't seem to get it.
Now I want to let you know than old customers will be updated for free with a package very similar to the original, and new customers on steam will get a little more complete pack with three variants (very slight variations on the mesh, like horns positions) and three scenarios developed by Andreas Czudai. Functionality in both packages are the same.
wait, so i gotta buy it again if i want everything? ok what is included in the package for owners of the original, compaired to the steam version because i am confused?
The original pack is like the old one: 1 locomotive. The Steam package are 3 mesh variations (they are almost the same) and three scenarios. Thats all the diference.
