Just getting the ball rolling on a new route after stalling out on my Horn Lake Route. I still plan on finishing it, but have hit a temporary brick wall. This new route is a real world route, and I've already got the DEM terrain work done, having some RWDecal issues, but I hope to have those resolved soon. The route will encompass one, two, or all three of the highlighted routes below, depending on how this all works out. Now, does anybody know what lines these are?

Hmmm... is that Lake Michigan perhaps...? Whatever the case, I'll be looking forward to this- I've always enjoyed prototypical routes over freelanced or "protolanced" routes- though that's just a personal preference, of course. I've seen your work on HLR so I'll definitely be looking forward to this one!
Indeed that is Lake Michigan! My new project encompasses my home rails so to speak. The line in red is CP's Watertown Sub (with a little bit of C&M sub on the very east end). The line in white is CN's Waukesha Sub. The line in yellow is UP's Adams sub/Milwaukee Sub. I'm working on CP right now, and hope to release it in 3 stages as I finish up each railroad. Here's my first WIP shot. Just started laying track and scenery this morning.
It's a real hodge podge down here on the old Milwaukee/SOO/ICE/CN route. You can see plenty of all four paint jobs running around. Oh yeah, the other day I saw a Illinois Central GP-38 in Spaulding yard.

It's a mess up here too! The current route name is Duplainville, which is where the CP (ex MILW/SOO) and the CN (ex WC/SOO) have a diamond. Plenty of color on the CP and the CN runs a bunch of BCOL and IC stuff. The only railroad who doesn't put on a good color show is UP (and even so we see some patched up CNW and SP stuff sometimes, heck, yesterday a friend of mine saw a patched Rio Grande GP-something or other sitting down in Butler yard!). Anyways:
Route update: Working on the Muskego yard, might restart on the east end of the yard due to subtle, but devastating elevation changes.
Here's a couple more route appropriate locomotives. Hoping to whip up a CP GEVo soon, but gotta balance route and rolling stock.
