Don't know if anybody here has any interest in the old Frankeheimer film "The Train" starring Burt Lancaster, but I thought I'd share this accidental discovery, a page with details about railway locations used in the film (shot in France): http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/peclegg/sncf ... 08_07.html

Great flick I've seen numerous times, including in the theater when it first came out.
If God had intended for man to fly, He wouldn't have given us the railroads.

It's one of my favorite WW2 flicks and, heh, it's a little weird seeing a "behind the scenes" vid in full color, but interesting nonetheless, even though I have no clue what the voiceover was saying.

Thanks for sharing. Never liked the movie in black and white, was a big thing at the time for most movies.
Color version would have been great. Saw it in Denver, Co. when I was 10 or 11 visiting some relatives.
Ugh, many moons ago. !!jabber!!
