Getting Started with Blender & RailWorks

Unread postby TZHX » Tue May 31, 2011 1:24 pm

Hi guys,

I'm trying to do the tutorials on the railworks wiki site, specifically the one for creating a wagon ( link ) but using the Blender 3d tool rather than the one they use in the tutorial.

I'm wondering if there's a "translation" of sorts between the programs that says what each step in one is to the other? Or if anyone that's worked with Blender can tell me which features of it I need to read up on?

Many thanks,

TZHX

Hey there, as far as I know there isn't a real tutorial for Blender + RW around, but you will certainly need this: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 2&t=115591
Also the folks there are regularly using Blender and might give you some hints.
