Hello everyone, my name is O'brian and I am working on the Norfolk Southern Alabama Division R-Line from Mobile, AL to Selma, AL. The port city of Mobile is busy, especially points northward on this line, where steel and chemical companies rule! I have done over 50 miles of track including the old Frisco Line out of Mobile. All is scenic. Payware objects will be removed upon release! but the first phase is done. Hooray!!!

Old Frisco Line ; AGR uses trackage rights on NS; I modelled the complete line all the way to Calvert, Al where last chemical plant is online. Here you are looking at 3 mile creek bridge to empty into Mobile Bay

Thanks for the compliments everyone! since I am transitioning from MSTS. I created the Birmingham Route, and Atlanta Route. RW editor makes routebuilding much easier.

I agree with Chacal--need more hard drive space!

Actually I have it (a 2TB external) but alas I did not install Steam or Railworks on that drive--they're on my internal and its down to 75GB left. Really don't want to re-install but I may have to do so.

I do have some disk space set aside for this route when it comes out, no matter which drive RW ends up on! :)

All I can say is "more! more!" - from my experience this is just the sort of thing to keep up the interest in the hobby. Most of the time the freeware routes are as good or better than much of the payware that's out there.

Thank you all for the compliments! Remember that this is a freeware route. Here are some shots of the Frisco Yard now AGR railroad. I have taken time to lay track and scenic as seen in real life foot for foot. No, I wont be able to place your dog in you back yard...lol. but I will show you as much detail possible to create a realistic scene.

Thanks for your good work. I lived in Selma for five years back in the 70's and thoroughly enjoyed railfanning the area. Hope you will include the WRA curved yard in Selma and the Union Station. My dad spent many summers there as a child and had great stories about playing in and around the roundhouse and shops. My HO scale model extended from Wilton Jct. south to Marion Jct.

I'm looking forward to your route.
