Little Chicago

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Mon Oct 03, 2011 8:57 am

Hi,

I finally wanted to test some of the new tools in the world editor, so I revisited an ancient route project, on which I started working back in RailSim. *!embar*! Now, a few years later I got about a mile of scenery and some miles of trackage done. *!rolleyes!*

Some day though there might actually be a release of this short but very densely populated route.

Can anybody guess where that place is that I'm trying to model?

Hi,

Two more screenshots.

The place is by the way just north of Great Falls, MT, the huge Anaconda Copper Smelter that once existed there, processing ore from the mines at Butte... and the neighboring "Little Chicago Yard" of the GN Ry.

Boy I was way off then on my guess. See what happens when you rely on Google.

Looks great Michael, would love to see it released.
