Good Morning,
A french conceptor , for some new routes (all in freeware) is beginning a route starting from New Orléans....So , all will not perfect , I am sure of that , but don't fire on him , usually he makes fictive route.....perhaps , the future will be more réalistic....you can see the first screens , and they are based on the Pacific Surfliner route.....and he makes that for his pleasure , first
MOST IMPORTANT......YOU MUST BE REGISTRED , TO SEE ALL BEAUTIFUL SCREENS......THAT'S ALL

I hope you like his job , just for the fun ......and some routes made before by Zawal , here , all in freeware

Sorry, It won't let me register so can you please post the screens here.

It's not accepting my email address over there so if I can't see the screens here it doesn't interest me.

I tried to register with my gmail address and I got this incredibly stupid message:

"The email address you used is not accepted by this community. Please select a different email address."

Hello? There are millions of us on gmail. Intelligent people for the most part, gmail is not AOL.
I would like to meet the admin for this site and personally tell him he's an idiot. In French.

Too bad, I wanted to see this route.
Thanks for trying, Jean-Pierre.

Same message I got when I tried to register, I use MSN.

Amazing shots. This route is starting up quite well.
Merci Jean-Pierre et bravo Zawal.

@buzz: millions of people in Europe and France use Gmail accounts.
This decision makes no more sense over there than it would here.

I understand their problem (spamming and abuse from east european countries), but blocking registration from the largest e-mail providers is not a good solution. At worst I would understand Yahoo, but Gmail is even used by corporations.
I had this problem as a forum admin and there are a lot of options on forum software, for example blocking ranges of IP addresses for some time.

That said, I didn't want to start a flame war between two forums.
My reaction at the time was what it was. Better let it rest.

To the railsim-fr.com members reading this:
L'opinion que j'ai exprimée ci-haut était ma réaction personnelle sur le moment.
Mon opinion personnelle ne réflète en rien celle des autres membres de RWA ou ses administrateurs.
Ce n'est surtout pas une opinion d'Américains vs Français. D'ailleurs je ne suis pas Américain.

Thanks to you and the admin.
For the help with signalling that you mentioned above, there's a few guys here who know about this stuff. But you will probably need to ask specific questions.

Assuming the project has continued on over the years. The recent upload called FRET U.S. by ZAWAL New Orleans, if this is the start of something the only thing other than good work is that the location isn't New Orleans, it's Arabi, La. Although its the next Parish over but for those expecting to see New Orleans might be in for a let down. From what I can see so far the Marathon Refinery looks good, the Northern end that continues on to Florida Av, I hope to see it continue. But the split at the Northern end doesn't have that curve to the left as it continues up St Clude Av and has a switch back that serves Domino Sugar. Other than this, good work
