Sarah, don't turn it into a "job". Then it won't be fun, then you won't unwind, then you will walk away for something different.

Place some flowers along the route, and then smell them !!*ok*!!

The first building for the route is coming out nice, next after I finish the basic modeling I'm going to add night windows and neon lights, these buildings will look great on the route.

Also, are there any classic buildings from Pennsylvania you'd like to see on the route, I'll add them to the 20th Century Buildings collection.

...Cheers...

I'll beta test Mike, just as long as it won't require any assets from any payware route that I don't have.

Back from a run and a lookover of the route and im impressed at how well its coming along! !!*ok*!!

So ive only found 2 minor problems.

1. the boats in the river are actually hovering above the water...must have been hover boats? !*roll-laugh*!
2. the wye at the Amtrak yard has too sharp of a radius and should be opened up a little bit.

Speed recommendations:

Yards-15mph
Mainline-45mph with 30mph sections for the tighter curves
Branchlines and other lines-25-30mph
Spurs-15 or 20mph depending on their length.

Recommendations:

using the 2d trees and having a few different types would give a lot better visual result and easier on some pc's.
the addition of the cabsway feature would be great for the rough lines. probably set it around 50 for the mainline, 100 for yards, 150-200 for branchlines, and 250 for spurs. 300 plus for abandoned track or very bad track, I have found these values to give the most realistic effect.

This first test turned out to be great and I can see great things coming from this one! Keep up the good work !*brav*!

Rounte runs good except for a couple problems.

After the cross tracks near the beginning there are two people floating in the air.

When I left the train yard got a derail error message saying junction switched against train.

Looks great, might have that new building finished sometime this week. Also been busy with a loft object but haven't had any luck at getting it into the sim yet.

I must say though, this is exactly why I build scenery items, since actually I stink in building routes and don't have the patience to do one.

Also, why not try to repaint some of my buildings for the route, would love to see some of them with grafitti on them.

.......

Also, this will look great winding through the city part of your route once I can get this loft to work in the sim, problem is though, I keep running into walls everywhere. Now it keeps crashing the game when I go to place it and can't figure out a way to make it work.

This is a high rail system will you would place the 3d trains rails track on top.
