Where's the beef?

Yes, I'm one of those who has taken advantage of RSC's great discount price for TS 2013 Deluxe even though I had already purchased the standard package. What we got, primarily, is the new Munich-Augsburg route for a real bargain price. Or did we? According to its page in the Steam Shop, this route includes a new, souped-up version of the DBAG Class 294 engine and a scenario featuring that engine, called "Freight Run to Pasing". However, neither the engine (in either the old or new version) nor the scenario show up in my TS 2013 installation and, yes, I have run a cache check.

I've dropped a note to RSC support asking about this, but I'm writing this message to ask whether other purchasers of TS 2013 Deluxe got this engine-scenario as part of their download.

By the way, there seems to be another omission from the Deluxe version: according to the ICE-3M's user manual, this train comes with 7 scenarios, each in standard and career versions, all taking place between Deusseldorf and Cologne. I own a copy of that route, but none of the promised scenarios are there. How about you other purchasers of the "Deluxe" version?

!*don-know!* !**conf**!

I did not get the Cologne-Dusseldorf ICE3 scenarios, only the Munich-Augsburg ones. The BR294 scenario was not included, but the BR294 is in the Munich-Augsburg folder. Let me know what RSC replies to your question.

Per an E-mail Response from RSC:

Freight Run to Pasing was withdrawn and will be re instated in a future update.

You took the words right out of my mouth ... or out of my message from them. Interestingly enough, the plain and simple, direct reply arrived without being preceeded by the usual boilerplate business -- perhaps I mentioned that I had already verified the cache? In any case, Samwolf's sneer is pretty bogus.
