Port Road in TS2013

Unread postby AaronB » Sat Sep 29, 2012 5:56 am

Does anyone have the Port Road route working in TS2013? I installed it through the Steam free DLC routine. TS shows the route on my selection menu, but when I select it I am unable to select a train to run on it. There are about 4 free roam scenarios but when they load, I can't select any of the locomotives that appear. Also, if I select a trainset from the Port Road scenario menu, it takes me to the other routes I have installed depending on which train I select.

I looked for the blueprint "clear cache" in the tools provided with 2013, but can't find it. Also, the settings tab in the tools doesn't work.

Maybe since this is a legacy route, it won't work with the 2013 update. Don't know.

Thanks.

I now know that the Port Road route I d/led from Steam works. I d/led a scenario from the Workshop and ran it. So I guess that the 4 scenarios provided with the route don't work in TS2013. Given all that is going on I doubt that they will be fixed.

Seems a shame, but it is what it is.

Just checked Port Road in my TS2013 installation. Doesn't look "dead" or "gone" to me: three freeroam and one standard scenarios alive and well and ready to run. I haven't tried that scenario from the Steam Workshop, but the originals look just fine.

Interesting. Mine come up without any picture for the trainset I pick nor do I have a picture in the route box.

When looking at the scenario list, the first box contains a walking person, next the name of the scenario, and then dashes.

I have verified my files several times and also cleared the cache and they still won't work.

As I said before, I can open a scenario, but I can't pick any trainsets to run. Don't know what to do about it. All Steam says is "You already own Port Road" and won't let me reinstall it.

If you want to re-download it then just delete the route then verify the game files and it will re-download it
