DTG direction

Is it just me or does DTG seem to be going more Eurocentric lately and less on American content?

I was under the impression that since DTG is a European company it's easier to get that content verses US content across the pond. Plus, the US companies have copy rights on just about everything so it costs more upfront to release content for the US. I have found that many Steamers in the US are copy written including their shape and color scheme. N&W 611 is one such steamer.

I think it's best for DTG to hire Americans or make an American-based office where Americans can make accurate US content since they would be more experienced than the Europeans at DTG.

Look at it this way for a moment. There are several companies with multiple developers in Europe making TS2019 stuff for DTG on the Partner Program. As nearly as I can tell, there are 4, maybe 5 individuals or very small teams making US stuff on the Partner Program. So much more Euro stuff is being submitted than US stuff. Result: More Euro stuff is released than US stuff.

DTG does not, as far as I can tell, make anything for TS2019 themselves anymore having concentrated all their internal resources on their cute little console games. Both of them are so busy with that, they don't even have time to post here anymore, let alone make stuff for TS2019.

Of course, I have no inside information so I could be wrong. !*roll-laugh*!

As a Japanese-American, I'd like to complain about the lack of medium American steam locos, like 2-6-0s and 4-6-0s and Japanese steam locos in general. !*roll-laugh*! !*roll-laugh*!

What's a Japanese-American? Is that like I'm a Scot-Danish-English American and I want some Dane locomotives? !*roll-laugh*! !*roll-laugh*! !*roll-laugh*!

By the way I agree we need some 4-6-0 and 2-6-0 stuff. Or how about a classic 4-6-2?
