Good Morning:

Thanks for the heads up. I have downloaded the route but have not installed, I thought I would see if any problems came up.

How is the route anyone??

The first scenario I have no tracks. But have tried another with the Doodlebug and there are tracks. Also have no ground textures, have plants and things but the ground is just big squares.

These are not scenario problems.
Have you installed the route v1.1 AND the patch?

Yes have the patches. Been over everything again just in case I had missed installing anything, but still the same. Usually if you have anything missing you get milk bottles or the word no texture which I don't get.

The scenario without the track and textures is Discovering the North. Tried another scenario From the border and back have the tracks but no ground textures. Got stuck at a red signal with an approaching train on a green signal not moving.

Take a look at the French download page for the route: http://www.railsim-fr.com/forum/index.p ... owfile=832 . That page provides links to two UKTS packs and one RWA pack, all freeware, that are required if you want actual scenery for the route. By the way, the UKTS links provide downloads that are immediately available, so those not paying for "premium access" at UKTS do not have to wait in line. Don't be afraid of the "Telecharge" (can't make diacritical marks here) button -- that's French for "Download". The page linked to above also reveals that the DLC Donner Pass, American Assets, and European Assets packs are required.

By the way, if you install the route's English version, also available at the link given above, is already at version 1.1 and does not require a patch. To download it, first click the "Telecharger" button on the page linked above and then click the "Telecharge" button for "The Far North 1.1. rar.

And, finally, be sure that you have downloaded and installed everything listed and linked in the scenario pack's ReadMe file.

Dat's all, folks!

It does require the patch.
The patch adds signals stuff to v1.1.

For instructions in English, see here.

I was reading in the instructions in your link not to install one of the 3 files in the Alaska folder as one is the old version. I installed all 3. Why leave it in the folder if it isn't wanted. I have installed all the RWP files with 7zip so what files should I manually uninstall/delete ?

Ligne.rar is the one you don't want.
I suggest this:
- Open ligne.rar in 7zip and find the route folder (it will have a long name made of random letters and numbers).
- Delete this folder from your Railworks installation (taking care not to delete anything else; check twice, delete once...).
- Install the route v1.1.
- Install the patch.

No need to reinstall any asset.

Yes did all that but still had no tracks. Increased graphics settings to highest and got the tracks but, still have the squares.

Sorry, NO! The English version of the route, called "The Far North" is already at version 1.1 and therefore does not need the patch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not just have everything for the route in just one RWP file. I can understand the scenarios being separate as they are done by a different person.
