Here's the fix for the coupler issue on the Auto Rack cars. I didn't see any others with this problem. Just get this file rename your auto_rack_car bin file something like auto_rack_car.orig for a backup and then put this file into your railworks\Assets\RSC\DonnerPass\RailVehicles\Freight\AutoRackCar\Default\Wagon folder. The couplers should be fine. I tested this so it should work.

Here's where you get it. https://www.sugarsync.com/pf/D6076927_62669624_84255

Even though I like the update there are flaws that should have been caught. One of the road crossings is missing the road ( was in original), Same lousy roads, and yellow crossing flashers found so far.I am surprised that these were not caught and corrected during testing. One other issue is the AI timing. In a standard scenario the AI was late starting even though I was late getting to that point ( was static as I rolled by).

To paraphrase an old saw, "You can please some of the people all of the time; you can please all of the people some of the time; but you can't please all of the people all of the time."

Translation: some folks just enjoy being unsatisfied, so finding things to gripe about is their source of joy. I do firmly agree, however, that there are other forums where RSC bashing for the sake of same is much more welcome. I have red crossing lights. I think you still have some validation to go.

Second verify done, one file updated ( zero bytes). One scenario updated Donner Pass. Still yellow.

Do you have Sherman Hill? I'll go look but I bet it's using the grade crossings from somewhere else.
It's using the kuju files.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailNetwork\LevelCrossings\textures

Go there and see what the dates are on the textures. They should be 6/30 for the first four and 10/14 for the second four.

I do want to warn you that I have smm digital crossings installed but I don't think they ever affected the default routes.

Note: Red. Where do you suppose those came from? Read above post on the files in my kuju file.

There are only 4 files in the Kuju-level crossing -texture folder, all dated 6/20. The Donner Pass scenario was updated today and had an interesting result. The scenerio was marked as complete even though I still have 30-40 minutes to completion ( resuming a saved scenario).

I was wondering why my Donner crossings looked so good.
