Lets see how many locos end up with UFO's (floating fans) behind them this time. :D

It appears they are adding Steam Workshop to the game which is a huge feature!

After reading between the lines.
1. Any default assets that were modified in anyway will explode! (Default sounds and views will be replaced).
2. Any mods made to the default bins will be replaced back to default.
3. Repaints, (this part sucks), might not even show up anymore if they change any structures in the default asset the repaint is from.
I have 10 things to say but I'm stopping here. These 3 alone will suck. It will take days/weeks to get everything that I have modded to work again. *!mad!*
We all need to backup our railworks and that goes without saying. I already have mine backed up as usual. I do mine often anyway.

I normally just copy the entire SteamApps folder to a separate drive or to a separate folder outside of Steam. i also just run a back up of my entire C drive to an external drive.

!*cheers*!

Well, if they change the file structure, I doubt backing it up would really help much, since it would be set up wrong for the new way. Like me, I'll probably have to re-export everything into Railworks again.

Hi Joe,

Are you talking about your re-paints, or installed mods in general? Where did you read between the lines they will change assets (yeah, I know they used this word also), once they are talking especifically only about back up \Content (ie Routes) folder?! Anyway I'll have all mine 250 mods (5 GB, include mines) re-installed with 2-Clikz in 3 minutes. *!twisted!* See more here:
