I came across these while looking around, no pressing need for them, just showing them off for possibilities.

Here are the articles the plans came from, Railway and Locomotive Engineering 1921, lots of detailed info there.

These might tie in with something else i'm working on.
I've got far to much on the go just now to build them but mibbe in the future.

Can i just add that i think you've gone about this the right way ssbobz in providing not just pictures but actual drawings with dimensions.
The articles were an interesting read too !!*ok*!!
If you were to try and model these by eye you'd never realise they are over 70' long.
Frontrunner in the file library now!

I saw them about the same time the new B&O project was announced and I thought they might fit with the era and locale since they were used by C&O, N&W, and Virginia, and I love those trucks! It seems there were a few variations for ends, sides, and length, 50± footers being common.

** The KCS gons in the first link are similar to the oldies but 150 tons and about 70ft long, they might fit on the WIP New Orleans & Gulf Coast route wink wink nudge nudge
