Looks great, hopefully it will include instructions on how to fix the cabview.

It's not that hard. Go into the RailVehicles\CabView folder and find the EXTERIOR_xx.GeoPcDx for the model you used to do your re-paint. Copy that to your desktop or wherever and re-name it to your re-paint name. and paste it back into the CabView folder. Now open the GeoPcDx file and change each of the texture lines from whatever it is to your repaint name only in the spot where I put \CP\ in place of \UP\ for instance which is my original Geo. Note the second time in the line you leave alone.

<e d:type="cDeltaString">..\diesel\gp40-2\cp\engine\textures\[00]gp40_up_underframes</e>
There should be 12 places with different descriptions on the back end of the line sch as the underframes and so forth.

Next copy the exterior_xx.bin folder copy it and rename it to your repaint and paste it back in the CabView folder. Open it with RWTools and rename it at the top in those two lines to your repaint name .
Then go down to these two and change the name to like I did with the one for the CP model only to your repaint name.
<GeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">DTG\GP40-2Pack01\RailVehicles\CabView\[00]EXTERIOR_CP</GeometryID>
<CollisionGeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">DTG\GP40-2Pack01\RailVehicles\CabView\[00]EXTERIOR_CP</CollisionGeometryID>
This makes it now looking at your renamed GeoPcDx.
Now it should show correctly when you are in the cab looking out if I remembered everything. Let me know if it doesn't work....or if it does work so I can write this up for my re-paint and yours.

Those instructions look good to me. It is great that us repainters know how to make these changes so that as more repaints are rolled out we can make them look correct. It seems that Reppo made this engine and used the same scripting model for the GP40-2 that he did for the GP20.
