Not that I not going to make some mods (since you can do that in TS2019) but overall I think this does a nice job of capturing the area where it is in real life. There is plenty to do and even though it is only 29 miles if you obey the speed limit it seems plenty long to keep you occupied. If you think $40 is too much then wait for it to go on sale. All in all it's pretty nice.

After running this for a few days I will need to reevaluate my previous comments on the scenery. There are still the iffy spots where textures are not great but still a good route. There are some very nice areas track side. There are improvements in the foliage that can be used as assets for other routes. The biggest upgrade for me was to change the motive power to something more enjoyable.

I like this route. Yes, there is little new in the rolling stock but there are plenty of files here on RWA to sort that. Yes, the engine sounds are not the best but again as above. There are some new scenic items and the route has oodles of potential for scenario development.
It is not Blackwood Creek but it is more than twice the length, with a proper interchange yard and engine facility and has more traffic opportunities. Yes, I know, Blackwood Creek is freeware and I am a fan of BC but how many BCs are out there?

I have found a few errors none serious, they are : between RockwellSiding and Gold Hill Zion Church Road spur on the east side of the line a cross buck at a grade crossing faces the track the switch stand at Gold Hill Quarry siding 2/3 fouls the train, there are No speed limit signs anywhere, in scenario 1 the second loco is clearly a GP40-2 although it carries a GP38-2 number. All easily altered in World Editor (I suggest that the GP40 be renumbered to 3090). These errors are irritating and could have been avoided but the route (in my opinion) is still well worth the money.

Is anyone else having an issue where there's no interior engine sounds on the GP38-2 low nose? I have a horn and bell but no prime mover sounds etc.

Thanks. It turns out I made a mistake when switching out horns, all good now. Really enjoying this route so far.

I am puzzled as to why the brakes on the locomotives in this dlc are so poor. Are DTG re-inventing the wheel? The brakes on the GP38-2s on the Chicago-Aurora racetrack were/are ok, GP40-2s in other dlcs are ok so why are these so duff? I have found in scenario 1 that the brakes are a bit better if the second locomotive(GP40-2) is swapped for a GP38-2 (used RW tools). Still enjoying it but would enjoy it more if I could stop in time!!

Do they have the advanced brakes used since Soldier Summit? The brakes on the Racetrack GP38-2 are the same as the previous BNSF/BN and Stevens Pass GP38-2.

I have no idea and don’t know how to find out. I am merely commenting that it worked before and it doesn’t now. If it ain’t broke why did they fix it comes to mind.
I read here about folks saying swap out the physics, they might as well be talking nuclear physics to me. I know what physics are but I have no idea how to change them and I’m not sure that I want to. I really want to sit in my seat and drive on routes that I enjoy. I might dabble in route modification to enhance the amount of traffic, add speed limits, signals etc and I build an occasional route but fundamentally I want the game to do the work or is that expecting too much?
I am grateful to DTG for 2008 and all but we shouldn’t be going backwards (unless we intend to e.g during switching!!).

Is there any way to get the ditch lights to stay on constant on the high hood GP38s?

The update did not fix the one axle not turning on the GP38-2. !*not-ok*!
Scenario "Out of The Yard" second GP38-2.

Have you tested the standalone version with and without the SS EP?
