I just got an email from Wayne (Doug's dad) Smith.

He wanted me to post and thank you all for your concerns and kind words, which helped through the difficult time.

If it is alright to ask, how did he die? I talked to this dude a lot of Facebook. Really sad. :( I have lost to many loved one, though I only knew him for a few weeks.

Hate to hear this as well.

Doug was a big fan of some of my building models I've did.

This hits close to home for me as well, I'm 23.


Can't believe I didn't notice this thread a couple of months ago.

I just saw this a couple of days ago. I'm very saddened to hear of Doug's passing. It is a huge loss for the RW community. My deepest sympathies go out to his family.
