It would be nice but I don't see the point as there still hasn't been any VIA Rail Passenger Equipment up until this Point. I think until Heritage cars are built that is when we can see some VIA Rail stuff.

I CANNOT believe it! Seven years of this nonsense and they still can't get it right! My number 1 pet peeve with RSC's models is that they can never seem to get their truck profiles right--they're always too narrow, with the frames hugging the wheels. I realize this might seem like nitpicking, but honestly--this has been an issue since the days of MSTS, and things still haven't improved with RSC.

Here's how the Blomberg trucks SHOULD look from above (I realize it's a type B, but the general dimensions are the same):

Blombergdrawing_1.jpg

On the prototypes, the brake cylinders are nearly flush with the edge of the cab (when viewed from the front or from above) and on type B models, the leaf springs overhang the cab's edge slightly. Someday I'll have to take a measuring tape with me when I visit one of these beasts so I can finally put this issue to rest.

Cheers,
Eliot

I might consider taking on the challenge to do these repaints. Let me decide whats happening with my present project and then I might give it a go. Don't think it should be too difficult.

Nah, it would be easy! Take off the santa fe logo, add a blue stripe and the word via to the side and name some of the sleepers and diners.....there ya go! (Seeing as we cant have the park cars)

I agree 100% it would be an easy repaint. I just need to make the time to spend on it. *!lol!*

Consider it added to the top of my project list.
