Norfolk Southern Lafayette District (WIP)

Unread postby TheTeenageFoamer » Mon Jul 24, 2017 1:57 pm

I've started a route that is a continuation of the Lafayette Division route.
This route will go from Lafayette's North yard by Tate & Lyle, north east to Peru, IN. There are small towns on the route as well as larger towns like Delphi, and Logansport.
The only payware required will be the Cajon Pass route. The project will span probably over the next couple of years, as I am not active in the game as I once was (life hit all at once in ways.)
If anyone were crazy enough to want to help on this route, drop me a PM.

Here are a few pics of the towns I have the most progress on.

Got the majority of the track work done, still have trackside industries like Cargill to lay. I'm not quite sure if I am going to add the CSX yard in Lafayette or not.

Getting close on the Track layout. Meanwhile, I just finished the bane of my existence:

This has to be one of the weirdest yard layouts I've ever seen

Right now I am trying to decide if I should add the CSX yard in Lafayette or not. Do any of you guys think I should? !*don-know!*

Aside from that, I have the track work done, and am currently trying to get signaling situated. A cool thing about this route in real life, you can still find some of the ex-Wabash signals. I have replicated this on the route. However they are slowly fading away and being replaced with SafeTrans signals

Honestly I would say save your time since the Lafayette Division will cover that yard and the T&L yard as well. You can use that time towards something else you line actually focuses on. !*cheers*!

You're doing a nice job with it though. Is that a loft, or water tile(s)?
