The only pic I cound of the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe engine service, showed a turntable but no roundhouse, so perhaps it was under construction?? I needed a place to put the Big Boy turntable, even thought that's not quite the right time for it.

Should have time to start on this tomorrow afternoon after work, will have the following 2 days off of work and available for modeling.

1923 Ford Model T

These vehicles will be custom to the route, and will also start on a pack of custom buildings for it.

Since the route is set in 25 I'll be looking forward to seeing those old 30's cars non-existant, this will be the first new car, and I'll do some more as well.

I got distracted by flight simulator for a few months, but want to get back to the route.
In the 1920s many of the railroads with passenger traffic into Fort Worth agreed to centralize their operations near downtown. The old Gulf, Colorado, and Santa Fe yard on the east side of downtown was chosen as the new site of Union Station. All but the Texas & Pacific started using the Union Station and Yard for their passenger services. The Yard is just north of Tower 55 and was still in use ini the 1990's when I took an Amtrak service out of Union Station. I suppose it's still in use today, not sure.

Here's a screenshot looking north from Tower 55 towards Union Station and the eastside of downtown. Note the county jail in the foreground that was made using jpetersjr's building.
