Download Here: http://railworksamerica.com/FileLibrary ... ce_Upgrade

For those who can't open a zip file, I have included the readme here as well.

Don't forget to backup the files you are going to replace with the new ones.

1. Drop BB_Simulation where you have installed the BigBoy: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\IHH\Big Boy\RailVehicles\Steam\BigBoy\Default\Simulation

If it asks to overwrite, click yes.

2. Now locate your BB_frontframes and Rearframes. Place them in the Engine folder: (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\IHH\Big Boy\RailVehicles\Steam\BigBoy\Default\Engine)

If it asks to overwrite, click yes.

3. Locate your BB_Tender_Coal file and place it in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\IHH\Big Boy\RailVehicles\Steam\BigBoy\Default\Tender

If it asks to overwrite, click yes.

4. Start Railworks
- Replace the old BigBoy tender with the new one to get the correct water in the tender

Special Thanks to Buzz456 and XDriver for testing it out.

Also any feedback is welcome.

It's good to see you're uploading this. !!*ok*!! I can't wait to try the final version. The one I was testing did make a big improvement. I'm running two different versions of the BB plus modified sounds. I have to mod your bins to work with my mods but it all worked out good in the end. I guess we'll see just how many BB fans we might gain with this mod. *!!wink!!*

You bet! Takes the BB from just scenery to a driveable loco. Many thanks for your considerable efforts. !*brav*!

I'm not totally clear what this means, do I need to open the scenario in the editor and delete the old tender and add a new one? I tried swapping with RW tools and it made no difference. !**conf**!

Hi,
Very good work...what a difference in performance.....would be nice if the view in the cab could be brightened..its to dark.....

The Berkshires and the Northerns by GTRAX could use the performace upgrade too!! (They do have great in-cab views though!)

The Challengers by IHH could use a power upgrade to as well as an in-cab light!

Its a shame to see these beautiful engines struggle with a 7 car consist and get a out of water shutdowns too!!

Your work takes a great deal of effort and is very much appreciated..

Thank you,
Papa

I refuse to touch the G-trax engines. I was thinking about the Challenger too so maybe a couple of days working on it.

Edit: Challenger is not going to happen.

I like the BB fix, but I'm curious about your comment on the G-Trax engines. I was thinking about getting one of them, and wondered what specific problem you see with them before I do.

None actually, I feel Rick G. has brought the engines as close to prototypical as you can get.
