Unread postby GreatNortherner » Fri Jan 24, 2020 4:04 pm

Hi all,

The backdated version of the Montana Hi-Line route is now available on the Steam Workshop.

You can subscribe here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 1977906262

Scenarios are available here:
http://golden-age-rails.com/rwscnrio.html#greatnor
They are also available here in the RWA file library.

You must own the Montana Hi-Line route from Steam (US or worldwide version), and the installation of one external asset pack is required. Please read the installation instructions on the Workshop page for more details.

Cheers

Thanks!

Please let me know if something doesn't work -- I don't think I can download and check my own Workshop submissions (if I subscribe myself, I may risk making it impossible to upload further edits, though I'm not sure about that).

Is the Scenery Template scenario (see p. 10 in the manual) included with the upload, or did it only upload the QD? You'll need that scenario if you want to create *any* scenarios of your own, as it contains a lot of the add-in scenery (depots, most of the signs).

EDIT: I've just released the first two scenarios -- east and westbound Empire Builder (1955 TT). You can get them here (I've also updated the first post).

Cheers

Got all the downloads except one and that is DTM F7 Physics Fix and GN Passenger Units (required update for DTM repaints) and you mentioned in your manual that I can get the download from Golden Age of Railroading: I don't see this download on your website and maybe here at RWA file library?

Thank you,

John

Thank you to you, Buzz and I did not realize that can click the link to get the download from the manual. What I did is to read the name of the download file from the manual and look up in Michael's website. Anyway got it now.

Thank you again,

John

Having fun with this as well. Two issues, I am missing number textures for the F7s in the scenarios and where can I find the original S2 by Mad Mike?

Cross-posting this from the Workshop: :D

A fix for the missing number textures on the F7 repaints is available in my physics update here: http://golden-age-rails.com/freerw/rail ... senger.zip -- please redownload/reinstall if you have a version older than Dec 15, 2019.

The link to the original Alco S2 pack is this: http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... e-repaints (I'll add that to the readme right away, thanks for the heads-up!)

Cheers

Still have issues. I have downloaded all the latest suggested files. In my DTM assets I do not see a EMD F7 folder. Could this be my isue?

Hi again, Did you install both of the .rwp files in the .zip? The one named "warbonnet numbers" (or something like that) has the missing textures.

Yes, I installed both rwp files. I ended substituting the locos from RSC EmpireBuilders pack. They have that I think are better sounds and a gyro light, also a 2 person crew.

I did not receive the template scenario from the WS download. Just the QDs.
