This is the New Haven RR GE EF-4 (E33) Sound & Physics Modification pack version 1.0

In order to utilize this freeware physics upgrade, you must have purchased the "Train Simulator: New Haven E-33 Loco Add-On" pack available at Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/56238 ... oco_AddOn/

This is a freeware pack; in no way is it to be used for commercial purposes. You are free, however to further modify the physics enhancements found in this pack for personal use if you so choose.

This is both a sound (preliminary) AND physics mod.

The purpose of this pack is to adjust the traction characteristics values for more realistic operation. It additionally replaces the default bell sound.

General Parameter Change Log:
1. Weight increased to 397,679 lbs.
2. Traction characteristics adjusted; see below for more details.
3. Dynamic brake values enhanced.
4. Allow power braking up to 30 PSI in brake cylinder.
5. Replaced bell sound.
6. Adjusted coupler slack (too tight before).
7. Adjusted drag coefficients for both locomotive and freight cars + caboose.

Technical specifications for the New Haven EF-4:
1. GE EF-4 [E33] (3300 HP):
a. Starting tractive effort of 99,420 lbs (442.2421 kN)
b. Continuous TE of 79,500 lbs (353.6336 kN) @ 15.75 mph
c. Wheel horsepower of ~3,300hp (~2,463 kW) @ 15.75 mph
d. Dynamic Brake effort of 63,000 lbs (280.238 kN) @ 25 mph
e. DB resistor grid rating of 4,196 hp (3131.27 kW)
f. Maximum speed of ~60-65 mph
g. Weight = 177.535268 imperial tons (397,679 lbs)

IMPORTANT; Install Instructions

1. Locate GeE33PackNH (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Reppo\GeE33PackNH)
2. Open Reppo_New_Haven_GE_EF-4_E33_Mod_Pack.7z
3. Drag the file folders from the .rar in step 2 into the directory you opened in step 1.
4. The installation should be complete. Run TS2017 to check.
5. If installation is botched or does not work, to back up to original files, delete the folders from step 3.

Thank you for downloading and installing.
Enjoy =)

Yea lol. My readme files are always in a form, so I tend to just copy an older file and edit it for the relevant mod I'm doing. This one happened to be taken from the Dash 8-32BWH. I try to go over it to make sure I don't miss anything, but I always seem to miss one thing, whether it's something in the change list, the spec section, or even changing "TS2016" to "TS2017" in the install instructions !*roll-laugh*! !*hp*! !**duh*!!
