Let There Be Light! - Alpenfreight's Reshade Mod

Unread postby Alpenfreight » Fri Oct 28, 2016 12:11 pm

Hey All,

I wanted to release my Reshade preset as there were some questions about it. It is a pretty bright preset overall, but I feel like it adds a lot of mood to the TS lighting.

I have been running the older weather system (non-3d) and am using FXAA. This preset includes some sharpening to help sharpen the blurriness from FXAA.

Alpen, your weather mod was for 3D weather, is this reshade mod for the 2D weather?

You can download reshade 1.1 here with the preset software:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/bp1upxv2y ... 1.1.0f1.7z

You then just load my preset.

Can this run in Windowed mode? I see nothing to suggest reshade is even working. *!sad!*

FWIW, I followed the instructions in the readme.txt, but the Mediator.exe errors out as not a valid Win32 app. I tried doing the install manually (per readme), but I still don't see anything new. FWIW, I'm running WinXP-32.
Cheers!

Not sure this would work on XP, but yes it does work in windowed mode.

ReShade forum admin informed me that the app doesn't work under XP. Nuts for now, but I'll soon have an updated PC in prep for TSW anyway.
Cheers!

I'm usually OK with this stuff but I have no idea what to do with this. I downloaded it and installed and then what?

Not sure exactly how to explain it, but here is what my control panel for reshade looks like. There are a lot of tutorials out on the net about how to install reshade so maybe one of those would help?
