Wolfden Gaming and Wolfden Railroad Present: The Minion Pacific
So the time has come, minions have invaded Railworks, Hijacked one of my engines and a few boxcars, ran it down, painted it and now use it to haul their bananas across Sherman Hill
They thought it was a good idea to have there infernal creation in this game as well and so their newest villlain boss Slippery Peel contacted me with the request to recreate this abomination for you, the faithful and loyal Train Simulator player
Since I never have done a reskin before the answer was easy, of course I will do this and so I took to work. I stole some paint from UP, kidnapped some yard workers from BNSF and soon the contours of the Minion Pacific took shape ... or rather color. As kindapped people tend not to work very hard or good and the minions themselves seemed to have more interest in eating bananas it might be a bit rough around the edges but I think that is kind of fitting for a villain railroad right
What is included in this package
Of course the Minion pacific itself, a yellow/green/blue/orangy byproduct of my imaginagion
To accompany that a reskin for the Yellow 50 foot boxcar that got given away on October 1st
and as a bonus a graffiti version for the same boxcar thus making sure I invade all of your games
Of course having a reskin is nothing without a proper scenario so I made a full ruun from Laramy to Cheyenne, it might be looking like a clear A to B run but ......... maybe it isn't that straightforward ;)
The minion has been updated with a Quickdrive, some minor flaws in packaging are corrected as well. To find the quickdrive just vrowse your image grid and find it under Minion pacific banana Express. You can also use it in your own scenarios. You will find it in the editor under WolfdenMedia>WolfdenRR. As little extra you might encounter it as AI on Sherman hill :). I have submitted it to RWA and am awaiting it to be accepted after wich I will update this post once more with the link to the file. The Download on my own site posted below has been updated accordingly as well
Download from
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/engine-repaints?view=document&id=1933:minion-pacific-final
Or from my own site http://www.wolfdenmedia.nl which will also be the best place if you need my support and questions
If desired and people do not have the boxcar but want the minion Pacific GTEL I will make a package with the GTEL skin only, for now only the full package is available
The Minion Pacific is 100% free for the owners of Train Simulator 2016 Steam edition or standard edition if bought in store. This version is an absolute must as it is the only way to obtain the GTEL atm. A readme is supplied and MUST BE READ if you want to make sure you install a working version. Of course, like anyone else I do not spit on donations, if you desire to do so and thus fund my habit of buying DLC when I should not buy it a donation link can be found on my site
Many thanks go out to
Smokebox : Who doesn't know Smokebox and what he created for our enjoyment must have been living in a cave or new to the game. Very valuable input on techniques and packaging are kindly whispered in my ear by this man and you probably would be downloading a package 5 times the size it is now if it wasn't for him. Muchos Gracias mi amigo
Jack: many jacks might roam steam but the regular forum member on steam will know who I mean, valuable feedback for the scenario and beta tests have been done by him, helping me achieve goals sooner then anticipated. I am in your debt sir
Jalsina: There are assets IN this game but Jalsina proved to be an Asset outside of this game. He must have been running the engine and scenario for hours and have been providing me with many usefull tips and input, the minions asked me therefor to grant you the title of Honorary Knight of the yellow fruit, A title they didn't even bestow upon me. A huge thanks on my part though for all of your help
What are you lot still doing here, download the sucker and have some fun
