Unread postby FanRailer » Thu Feb 26, 2015 11:03 pm

This is the Seaboard Coast Line GE U36B Sound & Physics Modification pack version 1.0

In order to utilize this freeware physics upgrade, you must have purchased the "Seaboard GE U36B Loco Add-On" pack available at Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/277757

This is a freeware pack; in no way is it to be used for commercial purposes. You are free, however to further modify the physics enhancements found in this pack for personal use if you so choose.

The purpose of this pack is to replace the default prime mover sounds with more authentic 7FDL sounds. This pack also tweaks operational physics slightly for added realism.

New prime mover sounds aliased to the freeware GE C36-7i locomotive available elsewhere online. Horn & bell replacement coming in version 2.0 of this pack.

Technical specifications (http://www.thedieselshop.us/GE%20U36B.HTML):
1. GE U36B (GE 7FDL-16; 3600 THP)

b. Continuous tractive effort of 64,250 lbs (286 kN) @ 10.7 mph
c. Dynamic Brake effort of 54,000 lbs (240 kN) @ 25.15 mph
d. Wheel horsepower of 3,202.6 hp (2,390 kW) @ 20 mph
e. Maximum speed of 70 mph
f. Engine RPM range = 315 - 1050
g. RPM change rate (rpm/second) = 25
h. Fuel consumption range (gph)= 5.2 - 175 (http://www.alkrug.vcn.com/rrfacts/fueluse.htm)
i. Weight = 257,056.36 lbs (116.6 metric tons)
j. Fuel capacity = 3250 gallons

IMPORTANT; Install Instructions

1. Locate U36BPack01 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\DTG\U36BPack01)
2. Open DTG_Seaboard_Coast_Line_GE_U36B_Sound_And_Physics_Mod_Pack.7z
3. Drag the file folders from the .rar in step 2 into the directory you opened in step 1.
4. The installation should be complete. Run TS2015 to check.
5. If installation is botched or does not work, to back up to original files, delete the folders from step 3.

Thank you for downloading and installing.
Enjoy =)

If you give me permission to include your content in the next edition of this mod, then by all means, I will do so and attribute proper credit haha.

There's a new horn sound that's inside. How about using that ND5 horn and using the old brake sounds?
