I'm a little confused with all these new horn sounds you published recently.
Are they more prototypical? Better quality?
Are they used by all railroads?
Are they used on all models? For example, is the K5LLA horn used on all SD70ACes?

In the case of this one, it just sounds better than the stock one (that always sounds like it has an air leak). AFAIK, all ACe's have a K5LLA. At least the ones I've seen. !*roll-laugh*!

I could do a video for this I suppose.

Edit: possibly tomorrow should have it up !*salute*!

Edit2: No, I can't have it up have more pressing issuses to attend to.

Enjoying it very much as this is also the prototypical horn for CN SD70M-2's. I was really getting sick of that default horn. Thanks :)

Forgive me for bringing up such an old thread, but I have run into a problem.

For some odd reason, the horn works for my SD70ACe V2 Volume 2 (CN, BNSF, NS, etc) but it doesn't work for my regular SD70ACe add on (UP & Rio Grande). I followed the installation steps, but I still get the default horn.

Unless you own one. *!!wink!!*

Never let me have one. The potential of abuse for this thing is enormous.

What a friend and I did with the horns we own this weekend: http://hornwhistleboard.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7712

You can hear my K5HLB (in the actual way it's supposed to sound, not muffled like it was on Sherman), and my friend's K5LLA. I plan on recording the K5LLA static this week, as well as the RS3L and RS3K.
