What locomotive design, past or present do you personally find hideous?

I will have to go with the GE U50 series

The only reason I asked was I could not see Bill's image as it was not linked and thought it was only my end with the problem not seeing his image and you could.
No pun intended....it is slightly different, 6 axles versus 8 axles for start.

I think the reason for that was; apparently Photobucket had some issues yesterday as I noticed on other forums that Photobucket images weren't loading. All seems to be fine with Photobucket today though.

Okay I see it fine.

Did that thing ever go into production? I haven't ever seen one in action.

I don't have a picture of the ugliest locomotive I think there is, but the Pennsylvania T1 to me is uuUGGGLLY! Some guys like it though. One even has 3 brass HO T1's for his MR layout. - Rich

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GE_U50

Apparently the U50Bs were built using the power trucks and bolsters from the Veranda and U50Cs from the 50 series turbines. SP got three U50Bs, and the UP got three U50Bs. They really did go into service. They were two GE U25s on a single frame, and each prime mover drove one set of trucks! 15,000 HP...

Eye of the beholder... and all... but to me... not much is uglier than the BL-2
