Putting NS 8100 on behind NKP 765 was a brilliant idea last year. That way we could all see hurrtij and a steamer, double the foam, double the road rage.

Love love love the lighting on that first one! !!*ok*!!

The Golden State Route was stacked up with trains yesterday. CP Obar (MP 597) had two trains in it, and most of the sidings west of Dalhart were occupied. Some of these crews at Dalhart, TX are probably waiting for their trains as the freshly crewed AC44 7192 throttles up to lead eastbound autoracks out of the yard.

PMR #1225 sits in Riverside. A bit lost, she is pulling the SP's Sunset Limited as the PA's normally assigned this task where in the shops.

Here are a couple (well, a modern couple !*roll-laugh*! ) from last years Far rail / Lerro charter on the Cumbres & Toltec in Colorado / New Mexico. Be there again this year for Jay Wimer's Chama Steam charter using thw 2 "small" Rg engines - 463 & 315 from the Durango Historical Society at Silverton. Fingers crossed for some more great weather...
