Man, those pics might be useful for my GS-3 Project, to bad I don't have enough images of the actual GS-3 Cab.

Thanks,

The UP has started leasing former CSX AC6000CWs that were acquired by Progress Rail a few months back. The locomotives are equipped with a GEVO-16 prime mover, and are rated at 4400 HP. I caught MSSAL (South Saint Paul MN to Altoona WI) coming through Roberts WI on 06/17/2018 with PRLX 615 and 640 as the sole power.

My train today with the Genset on the other end. Its a busy and long day today. We'll tie up at 2100... As long as everything goes right. We're on break right now in between trains.

Here is a picture I took of a South African Railways Class 19D - built originally in 1938 in Berlin by Borsig Lokomotiv Werke.

It is still fully operational - part of a number of locos operated by Rovos Rail on their luxury trains - which is why it looks so clean and immaculate even though it is in steam.

It's very interesting to see such old pieces of equipment still in operation. Thank you for sharing.

Got some shots of Buckingham Branch GP16 No. 8 while it sat in the Norfolk Portsmouth Belt Line's Berkley yard in Chesapeake, VA this afternoon.
