New Scenarios

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Wed Jan 30, 2013 4:09 pm

Hi,

I've just uploaded a new scenarios page to my website. This will feature only TS2013 scenarios, written in the latest version of Railworks. Kicking it off is a quite simple but thanks to a timetable still slightly challenging passenger round trip with the Doodlebug on the 1920s MCSA.

Find out more: http://golden-age-rails.com/rwscnrio.html

More scenarios will be added soon. In some cases I will also have a look at my older scenarios, to see if it's worth updating them to the latest rolling stock offerings from various sources. In general though I much prefer to create new scenarios rather than do the second or third update to my old ones (which still can be found in the file libraries here or at trainsim.com if anybody is interested).

Good luck with figuring out what "standard stock" is now, Michael. That used to be easy, since everyone who had bought the sim up to the first version of TS2013 (the simple upgrade to 2012) had the same basic pool of American, British and German stock. Then, RSC decided to change the standard mix of routes in the purchased version of TS2013 and the "deluxe" version of TS2013. Remember that old nursery rhyme about "All the king's horses and all the king's men"? Putting this Humpty-Dumpty simulator together again is now quite difficult.

RW Tools is invauable now as Tom said with all the confusion about what is default any more. Just trying to find some of this rolling stock in the various RSC folders is a challenge.
