Looking for Input for Modern Boxcar/Gondola Update

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Wed Jan 25, 2012 10:33 am

Hi,

I'm looking for some thoughts and ideas about the still missing TS2012 update of the Modern Boxcars/Gondolas pack. I'd really appreciate your help -- and I've created a little poll thread that hopefully explains everything: *!!wink!!*

Thanks for your help!

Mike,
Release some versions of your 52 foot gons in P&LE early and late paints, also in B&LE, Conrail, CSX and various other railroads from the north east.
!*salute*!

Scrap em and start over if the old ones are way too hard to update.

ok GN, scrap the old files, and make a new pack consisting of the following:

Evans-USRE 5277 boxcar
Thrall 3564 gondola
Trinity 50ft Hy-Cube boxcar
48ft depressed center flatcar
FMC 4000 gondola (coal gondola)

Meh, depressed center flats aren't really as common as spine cars and such in modern trains. I say more intermodal cars, and maybe some tank cars or better hoppers.

spine cars and other intermodal stuff would be best suted for a intermodal pack and not a modern freight pack imo

I am still using the old ones with Jessie James repaints and I think they look great. :D PS I particularly don't like the couplers on the other redone cars. *!sad!*
