Were u able to hit 88mph using the auto fireman? Cause that's what I'm using. Well I'm glad to here its just user error and not the physics of the game that's the problem. I will keep practicing. Btw did u hit 88mph with a load, flat or on a grade?

Hiya

Permitted train weights over the similarly graded Cheyenneto Buford section were

Big Boy 3250 tons
Challenger 2150 tons

I suggest your 45 double stackers are considerably more ( re-alise you double heading )

When making and calibrating the Challenger model it was calibrated to match a published performance log on Bairstow route.. The Big boy had to have a calculated performance set, simply because the Sherman hill route does not exist in RW.. when it does I will calibrate it to the performance logs I have. ( challengers operated over Cajon )

Just a point , I do not go in for all the number crunching that some physics guru's would have you believe is the only way.

These loco's will start and perform on grade as per the best historically documented evidence I can find , ie if i drive my best it will match and slightly exceed the performance logged back in the fifties.

Always pleased to recieve any extra logs if any cross your path.

Regards
