Here's another G-TraX Preservation Series US-prototype steam locomotive pack for RailWorks. Southern Pacific's famed GS-4 number 4449, joins the roster along with SP&S 700 and Nickel Plate Berkshire 765.

The 4449 is offered in glossy Daylight, American Freedom Train, and BNSF Employee Appreciation liveries. Also included is a utilitarian, weathered variation reminiscent of the "War Baby" locomotives.

The prototypes of all Preservation Series locomotives survive in operating condition to the present day. The locomotives are maintained by volunteer organizations and are used in excursion service. These models are offered as Donationware. Net proceeds from the locomotives are donated to the respective sponsoring organizations. In the case of GS-4s, the beneficiary will be the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation ( http://www.orhf.org ), a non-profit group seeking to build a permanent home for Portland, Oregon's three steam locomotives.

Another great production, Rick! !!*ok*!!

Both visually and operationally stunning. And, the four liveries are a real treat.
