I'm getting real close to releasing the G-TraX "big steam" offerings. Bill Hobbs has finished the physics and the audio has come a long way.
And now the roster has been expanded! Here are some shots:
Spokane, Portland and Seattle 701 was a freight-only locomotive, though it was sometimes used as a backup to its fancier passenger-service sisters, numbers 700 and 702.
Thanks to input from Kelly Lynch of the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society, the decision was made to depict Nickel Plate 765 as it appeared in the mid-1940s, which is how the actual locomotive is presented today.
These will be payware products, but aside from distribution fees all net proceeds from sales will be donated to the operating organizations of the SP&S 700 and Nickel Plate 765.
There are a couple of distribution options under consideration and when that's out of the way the locos will be made available--probably later this month. See the G-TraX web site at the link below for additional details.
